Practices News: 

Practice Change/Cancelation:​

  • Practice Changes for this week 
    • 4/2/25: Celeste Plus & Azul (5:00-7:00pm @ MC-R) will be cancelled
    • 4/2/25: Verde will move to MC-Germantown 5:30-7:00pm
    • 4/2/25: High School Prep remains as scheduled
    • 4/3/25: No Changes
    • 4/4/25: No Changes
    • 4/5/25: Azul & Celeste Plus will be from 7:00-9:00am 
  • TIBU Spring Break: April 14-27, 2025

Practice Schedule

Bathroom Breaks: 

All swimmers MUST use the bathroom prior to the start of practice (whether they think they need to or not). There has been far too much disruption to the flow of practice because of multiple bathroom breaks. We will allow for one bathroom break (after 30min of practice) per practice.  Therefore swimmers should go before the swimming starts. Because we must utilize the buddy system on campus this is not only disruptive to the your swimmer but also the buddy that must be sent. (Buddies must stay together)

Meet News: 

We will be updating our Spring meets as the meet information is released. 

Meet Entry Deadlines: The default setting within our system closes entries at midnight leading into the date. (eg: If the deadline was 9/16 the system closes at 11:59.59 on the 9/15)​

2025 PAC 10&U Spring Penguin Meet

  • Schedule: April 12th 
  • Rules:
    • This will be open to all 10&U swimmers registered with USA-S and in good standing. 9-10 Swimmers in Verde should instead enter the upcoming PAC Dive into Spring LC meet
    • Swimmers will be limited to 3 individual events per day
  • Meet Announcement
  • Entry Deadline: Has closed

2025 PAC Dive into Spring LC 

  • Schedule:
    • April 26-27th 2025
  • Location: 
    • ​Fairland Aquatic Center
  • Rules:
    • Meet will be opened to all swimmers registered with USA-S and in good standing 
    • Swimmers shall compete at the age attained on the first day of the meet.
    • A swimmer will be limited to enter and compete in three (3) individual events
    • All events are timed finals.

  • Entry Deadline: 4/13/25 (late entries cannot be guaranteed)

2025 Early Bird LC Meet

  • May 3-4

2025 PVS LC 1 (11mon swimmers only)

  • June 22nd

2025 PVS LC 2 (11mon swimmers only)

2025 PVS LC Open Champs (11mon swimmers only)

  • July 10-13th

2025 PVS Age Group Champs (11mon swimmers only)

Team News: 

Second Call for Seniors:  We want to applaud and recognize the class of 2025.  

Call for the Class of 2025

We will again be featuring out Class of 2025 on all our media platforms. If you are a high school senior please submit a brief bio including the number of years you have been with TIBU, if your plan includes college athletics and what school you have decided to attend. We will post it on our instagram, facebook and on the TIBU website. We will also be submitting our graduate list to Potomac Valley to be posted on the PVS website

High School Prep Winter Session has ended. For any swimmer that wishes to continue please email the office Click Here

Session 2 Dates:

  • Jr. Developmental: 01/06/2025-04/11/2025
    • May Extension: The cost for the month of May will be $375.00 if you are interested in having your swimmer extend please email the office CLICK HERE. We will bill your account for the addition.
  • Advanced Clinic: 01/10/2025-04/11/2025
  • Stroke Clinic: 01/12/2025-04/06/2025

Facility News:

Minors On Campus

We have been asked by the facility managers to please remind our families of the Minors On Campus rules.

  • Minors are not permitted to be on campus unattended. A parent or guardian must remain with swimmers at all times while not under the direct supervision of the coaching staff.
  • Swimmers should also be arriving on campus 10-15min prior to the start of practice.
  • We have been informed that some swimmer are arriving up to 30min ahead of practice and left unsupervised. 

Parking On Campus

The College HAS reinstating parking enforcement College-wide.  This means that every car parking on campus must follow all parking directions and display a valid parking permit (attached).  The permit must be fully and clearly visible on the dash of every vehicle.  Vehicles must park in “Student Parking” only, designated by the white lines. If you have questions, please speak let us know.

LAST WEEK security was issuing warnings to all vehicles without properly displayed parking passes so please be sure to display the pass on your dashboard.
